This course will cover common associations between different organisms, such as parasites, endosymbionts, pollinators and others. Symbiosis is the living together of different species according to Anton De Bary.
No organism exists in isolation, but the degree of interaction between each other may vary. Symbiosis is a continuum that expands from parasitism, where one organism exploits another, to mutualism, where both partners benefit from this interaction.
In this course we will explore these relationships between different organisms in the context of their interactions, ecology and evolution.
