Estudio de la estructura, función y reproducción de los principales grupos de plantas. Discusión de la importancia de las plantas en los ecosistemas y el impacto socioeconómico. Aplicación de las técnicas de laboratorio para el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de las plantas, incluyendo sus estructuras, morfología, reproducción y ecología. Uso de métodos estadísticos para analizar e interpretar los datos generados en algunas de las prácticas. Requiere someter informes de laboratorio siguiendo formatos científicos establecidos. Lecturas y análisis de publicaciones científicas. 

“Study the structure, function and reproduction of the main groups of plants.  Discuss the important of plants in the ecosystem and their social and economic impact.  Apply laboratory techniques for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the plants.  Including the structures, morphology, reproduction and ecology of the plants.  Use statistics methods to analysis and interpreted the data generated in some practices.  Requires submitting laboratory reports following established scientific formats.  Lectures and analysis of scientific publication.”
