This laboratory complements the study of human physiology through practical experiences that reinforce theoretical concepts discussed in lecture. Using anatomical models, dissections, microscopy, computer simulations, and modern physiological instrumentation, students will explore the relationship
between structure and function in the human body. Activities include the study of tissues, the musculoskeletal, nervous, and cardiovascular systems, and the measurement of physiological parameters such as electromyogram, electrocardiogram, and blood pressure. In addition to enhancing skills in observation, analysis, and data interpretation, the laboratory fosters a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms regulating homeostasis in the human body.
