This
courses focuses on the application of engineering principles to design
and analysis of power-production systems. Fossil fuel, gas-turbine power
plants, and alternative power generation systems are studied.
Environmental aspects of plant design and operation are discussed also.
Analysis and design of major components such as boilers, turbines,
condensers, cooling water systems, and auxiliary systems will be
performed.
Prerequisites: INME 4002 and INME 4015
